Social Action In Strengthening Religious Character In Overcoming Bullying Behavior Among Students In Elementary School.
Abstract
Bullying is an act of violence or harassment that is carried out intentionally or unintentionally by a person or group on someone continuously which results in trauma to that person. The forms of bullying behavior include physical bullying, verbal bullying, relational bullying, cyberbullying. Bullying can occur anywhere, especially in the school environment, bullying itself can occur because of oppression and coercion against the victim so that the victim feels afraid and persecuted. This research uses a qualitative approach and the type of research is a case study type. The student population is 24 students. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis in this research first involves data collection, data reduction, data presentation, then data verification. The results of this research can be concluded as follows: (1) Analysis of religious character in overcoming bullying behavior has succeeded in reducing bullying behavior in students. (2) there is still verbal bullying behavior experienced by students, for example: making fun of them, calling them ugly names, calling their parents names. (3) there are acts of physical bullying experienced by students, for example: kicking, hitting, pinching.
