Focus and Scope
The IJELE (Indonesian Journal of English Language and Education) publishes scholarly articles focused on applied linguistics within the context of English education. The journal’s thematic scope includes: 1) English language teaching and learning, 2) technology-enhanced language teaching and learning, 3) Global Englishes language teaching, 4) language assessment, 5) curriculum design, 6) material development, 7) English linguistics relevant to language teaching and learning, 8) English literature pertinent to language teaching and learning, and 9) cultural aspects of language education. Contributions may include empirical research studies, systematic literature reviews, or theoretical discussions.
