The Open Journal Systems supports the LOCKSS system to ensure a secure and permanent archive for journal content. LOCKSS allows libraries to collect, preserve, and provide access to published content through a distributed network.
CLOCKSS
Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe
The Open Journal Systems also supports the CLOCKSS system to ensure a secure and permanent archive for the journal. CLOCKSS provides a controlled dark archive that releases content only when it becomes unavailable from the publisher.
