Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to Pandalungan must follow the focus, scope, and author guidelines of this journal. Submitted manuscripts must address scientific merit or novelty appropriate to the focus and scope, and must be free from plagiarism. Editors check plagiarism using Plagiarism Checker software.


 
Review Stages

Submission Check
Manuscript is checked against focus, scope, author guidelines, and plagiarism policy before entering the review process.

Plagiarism Screening
All authors are suggested to use plagiarism detection software. Editors also perform similarity checking using Plagiarism Checker software.

Double-Blind Review
Each article is reviewed by at least 2 (two) expert reviewers through a Double-Blind Peer Review process — identities of authors and reviewers are concealed.

Author Revision
Articles are returned to the authors for revision based on scientific and valuable comments from reviewers to improve the manuscript content.

Editorial Decision
The final decision on article acceptance is made by the Editors based on reviewer comments. Only articles meeting scientific standards are accepted.

Publication Sequence
The Editor in Chief determines the publication order by considering acceptance date, geographical distribution of authors, and thematic issue.

Double-Blind Peer Review. Pandalungan applies a Double-Blind Peer Review system in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the review process. Every submitted article is reviewed by a minimum of 2 (two) expert reviewers before a final editorial decision is made.
